Bill Patterson was a good husband, father, and elder.
He came from good stock in Mary and Griffe.

He will be missed by those that knew him.

Bill Patterson was such a role-model, hero of the faith and mentor to those of us who were younger and followed. He showed us by example how strong men live for God and care for others!

Bill had a great sense of humor yet greater sense of discernment of the needs and feelings of others; a life well-lived in service to God and his fellow man!

Like myself, Bill was a life-long fan of the “Moss” trio with that very close family harmony! See you, Bill, When They Ring The Bells of Heaven On That Day”…

Although our hearts are broken, Bill’s life is to be celebrated!

Thank you my friend, brother and Air Force comrade in arms for your service to God, your church, your family and a grateful nation!

Bill was a very fine Christian that I was glad to have had the privilege of knowing and attending church with for several years. I know he’s in a better place and I pray that God gives his entire family a peace and comfort during this time of loss.

Bro. Patterson was always an example of consistency for me. To a teenager growing up in the Marion church, he was a rock. I respected and appreciated so much his love for God and His family.

My heart goes out to you all and I am praying for God’s peace and comfort to surround you as you grieve your loss, even while knowing it is his ultimate gain.
