Sorry for your loss. She was a wonderful lady. I am not acquainted with Vera’s children but remember her and her parents Clarence and Flossie and her brothers. Families visited many years ago. Rev L L and my great grandfather Frank were brothers.

Gary, Dianne and family. I am sorry to hear of Vera’s passing. I have many pleasant childhood memories of playing in your yard when my Grandpa and Grandma Vaughn would visit with your family. Keeping you in my prayers during the coming days.

Dianne, Gary and family, I am so sorry for your loss. I have fond memories of the annual Stephens reunions when we would all play together as children. Vera was so kind to keep in touch with my mother, Dorothy (Stephens) Thompson, in the years before she passed in 2014. It was delightful to attend the 90th birthday gathering for Vera a few years ago. She was a special lady and will be missed.

Dear Dianne & Gary, our deepest sympathies and prayers are sent to you & your family. Your family has been such a part of our life on Carbon Street & the neighborhood. Our mothers were the keepers of the block over the past years and developed their own special friendship. We hope your memories bring you comfort & peace during this sad time as Heaven gains a new angel. Kevin, Abby, Marcia Zwick, and Laurel Thomas
