Herrin- Thomas Carl Thompson, age 87, of Herrin, passed away at 5:25am on Monday, August 12, 2019 at the Linda E. White Hospice House in Evansville, Indiana.

Thomas was born in Chicago on March 24, 1932, the son of Bill and Betsy Thompson. He was a proud United States Veteran. Prior to his retirement, he had worked as an architectural surveyor.

He was preceded in death by his parents, son- Gary Thompson, and brother- Howard Wagner.

Mr. Thompson will be cremated. Private family services will be held. Mitchell-Hughes Funeral Home in Marion is assisting the family with final arrangements.
