Herrin- Michael W. Louden, age 64, of Marion, passed away at 4:10am on Friday, June 7, 2019 at his home in Herrin.

Michael was born in Chicago on April 22, 1955, the son of William and Carol (Dallas) Louden. He worked as an electrical engineer for EMAC of Carbondale. Mike was a member of the Herrin VFW Auxiliary and the Pleasant Ridge Baptist Church in Cobden.

Survivors include his sister and brother-in-law- Janet and Robert Deja and family of Sycamore, IL
Best Friend- Eric “Al” Rossi of Carterville, IL
Friend- Joie Johnson of Herrin, IL

A memorial service will be held at 4:30 PM, Friday, June 14, 2019 at Johnson-Hughes Funeral Home in Herrin. Pastor Doug Bridgeman will officiate. A time of visitation will be held from 2:30-4:30 PM on Friday, June 14, 2019 at Johnson-Hughes Funeral Home in Herrin.

    Mike was a gentle soul and an inspiration to many at our church although he was a man of few words. I know he has met God face to face and is as happy as he’s ever been. Still, he will be missed by our church family. Rest in sweet peace, Mike!
