William C. Milton, 74, of Marion passed away on Tuesday, March 08, 2016 at 12:45 am at the Veteran’s Home in Anna.
William was born June 28, 1941 in Burlington, Iowa to Kenneth and Elizabeth (Grupe) Milton. He married Pat Myers on June 16, 1966 in Furth Germany and together they have shared over 49 years of marriage, she survives in Marion.
He proudly answered the call to serve his country in the Army during the Vietnam War. William was retired from SIU as an Instructor in Aviation Technology. He was of the Lutheran faith.
In addition to his wife Pat, he is survived by his;
Daughter – Samantha Marcum and husband Christopher of Chicago
Daughter – Amanda Morris of Marion
Two grandchildren – Sailor and Bella Morris of Marion
Brother – David Milton and wife Patty of Burlington, Iowa
Preceded by his Parents.
In accordance with his wishes, William will be cremated and no services will be held. Mitchell-Hughes Funeral Home in Marion is assisting the family.
