Shirley Ann Jones, age 79, of Pittsburg, passed away at 10:40pm on Thursday, August 11, 2016 at her home in Pittsburg.

Shirley was born in Walnut Ridge, Arkansas on August 17, 1937, the daughter of James and Irene (Groves) Raglin. She married Bill Jones on May 28, 1960 in Pittsburg. He survives.

Shirley was a homemaker.

Son- Doug and Gina Newlin of Pittsburg
Son- Randy and Leasa Jones of Pittsburg
Three grandchildren- Jaleigha Jones of Marion
Breana Jones of Marion
Miranda Jones of Marion
One great grandchild- Amirah Jones of Marion
Brother- Melbern and Colleen Raglin of Willowbrook
Sister- Kay Jackson of Marion
Sister- Thresa and Wesley Johns of Marion

She was preceded in death by her parents, two sons- Jimmy Newlin and Billy Jones, her sister and brother-in-law- Pat and Willy White and brother in law- Don Jackson.

Funeral services will be held at 2pm on Monday, August 15, 2016 at Mitchell-Hughes Funeral Home in Marion with Rev. John Howat officiating. Burial will follow at Mt. Pleasant Cemetery at Poordo. Visitation will be held from 6-8pm on Sunday, August 14, 2016 at Mitchell-Hughes Funeral Home in Marion.
