Herrin- Jeffrey Scott Stone, 42, of Herrin, died at 1:00 AM, Wednesday, September 21, 2016 at his home in Herrin.
Jeff was born on April 27, 1974 in Herrin to Gary and Nancy (Jacobs) Stone. He worked as an auto body mechanic at various places throughout the area.
In his spare time, he enjoyed listening to music, tinkering with cars and motorcycles and spending time outdoors, camping with his family at Little Grassy Campground.
Survivors include-
Mother- Nancy Stone of Buckner
Daughter- Cortney (Stone) Kerrigan of Herrin
Son- Justin Sullens of Murphysboro
Daughter- Hailey Stone of Murphysboro
Several aunts, uncles, cousins and close friends
He was preceded in death by his grandparents, father and infant brother- Derek.
The funeral service will be held at 1:00 PM, Monday, September 26, 2016 at Johnson-Hughes Funeral Home in Herrin. Family members will offer eulogies and officiate the service. Burial will follow at Herrin City Cemetery. Visitation will be from 11:00 AM until time of service, Monday at Johnson-Hughes Funeral Home in Herrin.
