Herrin- Cynthia Ann (Trapani) Henry, age 57, of Herrin, passed away at St. Louis University Hospital at 5:02pm on Sunday, January 10, 2016.

Cynthia was born in Red Bud on December 20, 1958. She was the daughter of the late Philip and Dorothy (Bayles) Trapani.

Mrs. Henry was a member of Our Lady of Mount Carmel Catholic Church in Herrin. Prior to her retirement, she worked in medical billing.

Survivors include her daughter- Tiffany Ann Wilkerson of Herrin
Son- Chael Anthony of Arizona
Grand Daughter- Jalen Wilkerson-Dunbar of Herrin
Grandson- Jamel Wilkerson of Herrin
Brother- Benny and Tina Trapani of Decatur
Niece- Cecilia Szutenbach of North Dakota
Nephew- Philip Trapani of Decatur
Nephew- Vincent Trapani of Decatur
Special friends- Janet Hamilton of Herrin and Dale Baker of Chicago

Cynthia was preceded in death by her parents and her daughter- Nicole Renee Wilkerson.

A funeral mass will be held at 11am on Saturday, January 16, 2016 at Our Lady of Mount Carmel Catholic Church in Herrin. Monsignor Ken Schaefer will officiate. Burial will follow at San Carlo Cemetery. A time of visitation will be held from 10:00am to 11:00am on Saturday, January 16, 2016 at Our Lady of Mount Carmel Catholic Church. Johnson-Hughes Funeral Home in Herrin is assisting the family with final arrangements.

For those who prefer, memorial donations may be made to the family, c/o Johnson-Hughes Funeral Home. Envelopes will be available and accepted at Johnson-Hughes Funeral Home; 201 S. 13th Street; Herrin, IL 62948.
