Bobby James Murray, age 84, of West Frankfort, passed away at 2:25pm on Saturday, September 24, 2016 at Herrin Hospital.

Bobby was born in Franklin County on January 20, 1932, the son of Carl Moore and Hazel (Swartzka) Murray. Before retirement, he worked as a carpenter and cabinet maker. He is survived by his brother- Edward Lee Murray of West Frankfort and his cousin- Charles Murray of Hafer.

Graveside services will be held at 1:30pm on Wednesday, September 28, 2016 at Herrin City Cemetery with Rev. Don Colson officiating. A time of visitation will be held from 12:30pm to 1:30pm on Wednesday, September 28, 2016 at Johnson-Hughes Funeral Home in Herrin.
