She was a wonderful mother in law. Always very kind to me. She loved the roast beef sandwiches whe she would diet. She could have two but only the bun from one.

My fondest memories of your Mama……Oh Lord lets see….so many. I loved going to Marion. Your Dad and Mom were always the sweetest people. When I think of your Mom I always see her in the kitchen.
She was the best cook ever!! Bar none…..
And she just welcomed you in a way that filled your heart with joy.

She was one of a kind that’s for sure. And I am blessed to have had her in my life.
    Everyone needs an Aunt Betty….

I can just see her Mom and Grams….Cackling like hens about now…laughin….

Give Deon my love and you take care. Hopefully someday we will get together.

We have many fond memories of being part of the “Pemberton” family. I will always remember how much help Betty was when Dad passed away. She was a very special lady to all of us. May God bless your entire family.

My thoughts and prayers are with you . Aunt Betty has always had a very special place in my heart .If not for Aunt Betty I never would have been able to say I have a cousin named Vicki Hickey. It would always put a smile on my face and take me back to Marion and smell them pies and think of you all when I could share that with someone,.

I will always remember Betty as the Angel who came to help Mom when Dad was sick and as Uncle Heff’s sister. Betty was always a lot of fun at the Pemberton reunions and at the Third Baptist. I’m sure, Betty, Opal and Ovalee are giggling and celebrating as I write this.

Vicki and All, Please accept my deepest sympathy. I so appreciated your mother with her loving spirit and upbeat attitude and, of course, her backing and support of you, Rick, the grand kids, and the music program and me. She was the best. I don’t know if you knew that your Uncle Bill and Virginia were in school with me although ahead by 2 or 3 years. Prayers for all.
