Johnston City- Gary Ray McMaster, age 60, of Johnston City, passed away at 9:30pm on Tuesday, January 6, 2015, at Memorial Hospital of Carbondale.

Gary was born on December 16, 1954 in Concord, California, the son of Alvin Ray and Genevieve Zylpha (Walker). He had worked as a sound engineer for TCT Ministries in Marion.

Survivors include his sister- Judy Badhan and niece- Lisa Buys of Reno, Nevada

He was preceded in death by his parents.

A time of visitation will be held from 5-8pm on Monday, January 19, 2015 at Johnson-Hughes Funeral Home in Herrin.
