Herrin- Tammy Montplaisir, age 44, of Herrin, passed away at 8:00pm on Wednesday, July 23, 2014 at her home in Herrin.

Tammy was born in Winterhaven, Florida on August 11, 1969, the daughter of Richard Yates and Toni (Phifer) Palmer.

Survivors include her son- Jay Suddeth of Herrin

Daughter- Shawnee Suddeth of Herrin

Son- Ozzy Suddeth of Herrin

Step-Son- Travis Misselhorn of Carterville

Step-Son- Sebastian Suddeth of DeSoto

Step-Son- Richard Suddeth II of Cambria

Step-Daughter- Candice Misselhorn of Albuquerque, New Mexico

Brother- Joe and Joli Riley of Herrin

Brother- John and Wendy Reams of Carterville

Brother- Erik and Heather Shemonia of Carbondale

Brother- Chris Shemonia of Seattle, Washington

Nephew- Josh Reams of Carterville

Nephew- Edward Reams of Carterville

Nephew- Evan Reams of Carterville

Niece- Dailee Riley of Herrin

She was preceded in death by her father- Richard Yates, mother and step-father- Toni and Mitchell Palmer, and her grandparents-James and Amie Phifer.

Funeral services will be held at 3:00pm on Monday, July 28, 2014 at Johnson-Hughes Funeral Home in Herrin with Rev. Don Colson officiating. Burial will follow at Herrin City Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 1:00 PM-3:00 PM on Monday at the funeral home.
