Myrtle M. (Huff) Boaz, 88, passed away on Saturday, March 22, 2014 at 3:19 pm at Herrin Hospital.
Myrtle was born January 11, 1926 in Johnson County the daughter of Mitchell C. and Lizzie (Keith) Huff. She married William Thomas Boaz, Sr. on July 16, 1949 in Piggott, Arkansas and together they shared over 54 years of marriage until his death on September 30, 2003.
She was a homemaker.

Son – William T. Boaz, Jr. of Marion
Grandson – William T. Boaz III of Marion
Great Grandson – Robert Michael Boaz of Marion
Great Granddaughter – Kiley Boaz of Marion
Two brothers;
Frank Huff of Goreville
Andy Huff and wife Beulah of Marion
Several nieces and nephews
Preceded by her Parents, Husband, two brothers George Huff and Lawrence Huff, sister Dora Huff Harris.
Funeral services will be Wednesday, March 26, 2014 at 3 pm at Mitchell-Hughes Funeral Home with Rev. Ivan Ryan officiating. Burial will follow in Cana Cemetery in Goreville. Visitation will be Wednesday from 1 pm until the time of service at the funeral home.
