My heart goes out to Maddi’s family and friends during this very difficult time. I knew Maddi as a student in my classroom. She had an eye for beauty and was a wonderful artist. We never have enough time with those we love and lose. May you find peace in the coming weeks and months.

I cannot put into words the sorrow I feel. Thank you for being such a kind friend to my daughter Casey, even after we moved from Carterville. She will be devastated by the news. I’m praying for your family and all those impacted. My heart goes out to all who are left to grieve.
