To the family and friends of Larry Weaver, please accept my condolence. At a time like this, words are hard to find. This is when we turn to God’s word the Bible for comfort. In the Bible, death is likened to a sleep. (John 11:11-14) Just like a person can be awakened from a sleep, God promises that, by means of his Son, he will resurrect all those who have fallen asleep in death. (John 5;28,29) That promise includes Larry. We can put our faith and confidence in his promise because we know that “God does not lie.” (Numbers 23:19) To learn Why we Die, visit jw. org for the Bible’s answer.
