Kathleen Ann Rodriguez, 65, passed away on Thursday, February 27, 2014 at 7:35 am at Saint Francis Medical Center in Cape Girardeau.

Kathleen was born October 14, 1948 in Berwyn, Illinois the daughter of Lee and Donna (Mooney) Held. She married Arthur Rodriguez on May 6, 1967 in Harvey, Illinois and together they have shared over 46 years of marriage.

She was a member of the Jehovah’s Witness of the Marion congregation. Kathleen retired as an accounting administrator from Ameritech.

Survivors include her;

Husband – Arthur Rodriguez of Johnston City

Son – Jason Rodriguez and wife Debbie of Bourbonnais, Illinois

Son – Joel Rodriguez of Johnston City

Son – Jason Rodriguez of Valparaiso, Indiana

Daughter – Jada Rodriguez of Champaign

Eight Grandchildren

Mother-in-law – Margaret Kincy of Energy

Two brothers;

Steve & Dale Held of West Palm Beach, Florida

Dave Held of Carterville

Sister – Sandra Bailey of Scottsdale, Arizona

Preceded by her Parents and Sister – Linda Hiatt.

Memorial services will be held at a later date. Mitchell-Hughes Funeral Home in Marion is assisting the family with arrangements.
