George Stokes, 63, of Marion passed away on Wednesday, January 8, 2014 in Marion.

George was born January 3, 1951 in Jersey City, New Jersey the son of George Stokes and Claire (Hughes) Campbell.

Survivors include;

Step-Father – Patrick Campbell of Marion

Sister – Julie Kay Lockler

Brother – Robert Campbell

Preceded in death by his Mother, Father, Son – Shawn Patrick Stokes and Sister – Denise Stokes.

A graveside service will be held on Monday, July 21, 2014 at 11 am in Odd Fellows Cemetery. Military rites will be presented by members of Marion VFW Post #1301, American Legion Post #147 and the Navy Ritual Team. Mitchell-Hughes Funeral Home in Marion is assisting the family with the arrangements.
