Faye Marie Farner, age 77, of Marion, passed away at 7:58am on Wednesday, October 8, 2014 at Herrin Hospital.

Faye was born in Marion on September 17, 1937, the daughter of Lindsey of Mary (Burnett) Morris. She married Larry Farner in Marion on April 2, 1952. He preceded her in death on November 30, 2008.

Mrs. Farner was a homemaker.

Son- Steven and Susan Farner of Marion

Daughter- Jane Nolen and friend Terry Williams of Marion

Daughter- Donna Bloodworth of Marion

Grandchildren-

Brother- Jerry Morris of Murphysboro

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, two brothers- Corky and Earl Morris, and one sister- Retha Marks

Funeral services will be held at 2:00pm on Friday, October 10, 2014 at Maplewood Cemetery in Marion with Pastor John Burnett officiating. Burial will follow at Maplewood Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 1-2pm on Friday, October 10, 2014 at Mitchell-Hughes Funeral Home in Marion.
