One quote that has always stood out to me is

” The ultimate measure of a man is not where he stands in moments of comfort and convenience, but where he stands at times of challenge and controversy.

This man, shaped an amazing family
Headstrong and dedicated to each other
which will live on and precede , learning from what Robert taught them and incorporating his example to future generations

I am so sorry for your loss. May “the God of all comfort” (2 Corinthians 1:3,4) comfort and soothe your heart. His promises, found in the Holy Scriptures, can offer much hope. It assures us at John 5:28,29 that our loved ones will be remembered and brought back to life in the resurrection. Please allow God’s Word to strengthen you and help you to endure this most difficult time.

    Dear Bonnie and Family,

Just this evening (Wednesday, Dec 11) I decided to check the Southern IL obituaries and saw the notice of Robert’s death. Your life together was a life well lived, and the results show in your lovely family. My heart is there with you and the children and Ann. I send deep sympathy, daily prayers, and deep love for all of you. I will be in touch soon. May God be with you. Love, Peggy

I was so sad to hear of Robert’s passing. It doesn’t seem possible that Mary and the brothers are now gone. I hope all of you find peace in your memories of your devoted husband and father.

Bonnie and All Family, Please accept our sympathy. My mother was always pleased that you were “neighbors.” You were very good to her. Again, our sympathy.
