Linda Sue White, 73, of Marion, passed away on Tuesday, October 01, 2013 at 5:32 a.m. at Heartland Regional Medical Center.

Linda was born July 21, 1940 in Jonesboro the daughter of Roy Dillon and Freda (Groves) Dirden. She married James White on August 22, 1964 in Marion and together they have shared over 49 years of marriage.

She was a homemaker that was passionate about teaching and sharing God’s word for 25 years. She participated in a Bible study with a special group of ladies every Tuesday. She enjoyed the time she spent with her Lord.

Survivors include her;

Daughter – Terri Copher of Cambria

Son – Enos Gaskill and wife Kristi of Murrieta, California

Daughter – Jamie Lawson and husband Brian of Romeoville

Daughter – Rebecca Akers and husband Michael of Jonesboro

Daughter – Melissa White of Marion

Funeral services will be Friday, October 4, 2013 at 2 P.M. at Mitchell-Hughes Funeral Home with Rev. Jason Forby officiating. Entombment will follow in Egyptian Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be Friday from 12 p.m. until the time of service at the funeral home.
