With deep condolences to the family Richard and I go way way back. We were best friends through grade school, high school and at SIU. He was always a loyal and helpful friend and we had great times together. He was my best man at my wedding in 1956. In our St Mary’s class, we now have only two living males. May he rest in peace!!

We will always remember Richard for his kindness to us and our grandchildren. When he would see them, when they were little, he had a $ ready for them to ‘buy ice cream’. We often enjoyed his company at breakfast at the Carterville Golf Course after Mass on Sunday. He will be missed.

Richard will be surely missed. He sold my mom(Barbara Torgerson) a home on Indian hill dr. And when she’d be sweeping the driveway, he always had time for her by stopping by and see how Barbara was doing( she had short term memory loss).May our Lord bless him for all he had done for others…..

Deepest sympathy to Richard’s family. We were their next door neighbors for almost 20 years. He was the most generous of men to, those he knew and those he didn’t. He loved his family, his business, his church, his community and a host of people he took care of.
    He will be mightily missed.

I met Mr. Pisoni when I moved in across the street from his daughter, Leslie. He brought me a bottle of wine and made me feel welcome. I enjoyed seeing him during his visits. He was always up for a friendly conversation and warm smile — one time he noticed my car had some scratches and buffed them out while I was away. He’s one of a kind — bless you all.
