THELMA L. MC CABE
Marion- Thelma L. McCabe, 79, of Marion, died at 5:00 PM, Wednesday, September 08, 2004 at Heartland Regional Medical Center.
Thelma was an only child, born on January 09, 1925 in DuQuoin to Vern and Elsie (Saylor) Mounce. She married John McCabe on June 21, 1947 in Marion. Together they shared 56 years of marriage until his death on May 13, 2004.
Thelma was a homemaker. She was a member of St. Joseph�s Catholic Church, the VFW Auxiliary, Newcomers Club and St. Joseph�s Altar Society.

Daughter & son in law- Deanna & Dennis Loomer- Louisville, KY,
Daughter & son in law- Nancy & Mike Benton- Marion,
Three Grandchildren:
Sara A. Loomer- Louisville, KY,
Jennifer L. Benton- Evansville, IN,
Leslie N. Benton- Bloomington, IL.
She was preceded in death by her parents and husband.
The funeral mass will be held at 10:00 A.M. on Saturday, September 11, 2004 at St. Joseph�s Catholic Church in Marion. Father Richard Mohr will officiate. Burial will follow at Rose Hill Cemetery in Marion. Visitation will Friday from 5:00 � 8:00 P.M. at Mitchell-Hughes Funeral Home in Marion. The prayer service will be at 5:00 P.M.
For those who prefer memorials may be given to Hospice of Southern Illinois. Envelopes will be available at the funeral home.
