Elizabeth Couch

Herrin-Elizabeth Couch, 72, died 5:34 P.M., Thursday, February 19, 2004 at her residence.

She was born January 5, 1932 in Columbus, Indiana to James & Elizabeth (Kitzinger) Tilton. She married Benjamin M. Couch at Columbus, Indiana. He preceded her in death on March 10, 1989.

Elizabeth was a member of Our Lady of Mount Carmel Catholic Church in Herrin. She was also a homemaker.

Survivors Include:
Three Sons & daughter in laws: Tom & Cheryl Couch of Carterville
Steve & Carol Couch of Carterville
Brad & Martha Couch of Houston, TX.

Daughter & son in law: Linda & Mark Gates of Garland, TX.

Twelve Grandchildren

Brother & sister in law: James & Mary Tilton of Lafayette, IN.

She was preceded in death by her parents and husband.

Funeral Mass will be 10:00 A.M., Monday, February 23, 2004 at Our Lady of Mount Carmel Catholic Church with Msgr. Ken Schaefer officiating. Burial will follow at San Carlo Cemetery.
Visitation will be Sunday evening from 6:00 to 9:00 P.M. at Johnson-Hughes Funeral Home. Prayer service will be at 6:00 P.M. on Sunday at the funeral home.

Memorial donations are suggested to the St. Mary�s School Education Foundation and will be accepted at the funeral home..
