Robert Wright

Robert Wright, age 57, of Pittsburg, died at 12:20 P.M. on Saturday, June 2, 2001 in the E.R. at Marion Memorial Hospital. Services were held on Wednesday, June 6th at 10:00 A.M. with Rev. Melva G. Englund officiating. Visitation was from 9:00 to 10:00 that morning.

Mr. Wright was born December 23, 1943 in Chicago to John Henry & Margaret Kristine (Hendrickson) Wright. He married Dawn Roberts in Benton, Illinois.
He was a Veteran of the Vietnam Era, serving from 1962-1966 in the U.S. Marine Corps. He retired from the Palatine High School District #211 in 1996. He was of the Methodist faith.

Survivors include his wife, Dawn; two daughters, Christine Elizabeth and Sharon Kaye Wright, both of Palatine; two step-sons, Dustin Roberts of Pittsburg and Braden Winchester of Carbondale; one brother and sister-in-law, Steve & Jean Wright of Cary. He was preceded in death by his parents and one sister, Karen Wright.
