Karen N. Madding, 51, passed away at 11:21 P.M. at Carbondale Memorial Hospital Friday, August 23, 2002.
Funeral services will be held at Mitchell-Hughes funeral home in Marion Tuesday, August 27, 2002 at 11:00 A.M. Rev. Ed Martin will officiate with burial to follow at East Lawn Memorial Gardens in Energy. Visitation will be at the funeral home Monday evening from 5-9 p.m. Memorial donations may be made to the Kidney Foundation and envelopes will be available at the funeral home.
Karen was born June 12, 1951 in Carbondale to Herbert E. and Rosalie (Stowers) Harris. She married Thomas E. Madding in Marion, IL on April 17, 1999. She was a homemaker and a member of Full Gospel Fellowship in Johnston City.
Survivors include Husband Thomas E. Madding of Marion, Mother Rosalie Harris of Marion,
Aunt Betty Stowers of Marion, Uncle Joe Reinhardt of Marion, Sister and brother ?in- law Connie Sue and John R. Germann of Marion.
