Estel (Lee) Powell

Estel Lee Powell, age 67, died Monday, April 9th at 11:05 A.M. at his residence in Marion.

Visitation for Mr. Powell was from 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, April 12th at Mitchell-Hughes Funeral Home in Marion until the time of the service at 1:30 p.m. Rev. Charles �Country� Hill officiated. Burial followed in Maplewood Cemetery, Marion.

Mr. Powell was born December 28, 1933, in Fisk, Missouri, to Lloyd and Minnie (Taylor) Powell.

Survivors include the following:
1 Daughter & Son-in-law, Wendy & Jeff Bloodworth of Marion
1 Son, Estel Lee Powell, Jr. of Madisonville, KY
4 sisters:
Lillian Powell of Flint, Michigan
Betty Frey of Herrin, IL
Edith Neafus of Marion, IL
Ella Tubbs of Marion, IL
He was preceded in death by his parents and one brother.

Mr. Powell was a retired truck driver. He was an Army Veteran and a member of the Marion Eagles.
