Charlie Robinson, age 74, passed away Monday, March 4, 2002 at 10:45 P.M. at his residence.
Funeral Services will be held at Mitchell-Hughes Funeral Home Thursday, March 7, 2002 at 2:00 P.M. Rev. Melva G. England will officiate and burial will follow at County Line Cemetery near Creal
Springs IL. Visitation will be at the funeral home Thursday from noon until time of service.
Charlie was born April 21, 1927 in Murphysboro IL, to Augusta T. & Lucy Ann (Johnson) Robinson. They both preceded him in death. Charlie was of the Protestant faith. He married Carolyn Guyer on August 14, 1970 at White River Junction, VT. She survives in Marion, IL. Other survivors include Four Sons and Daughters-In-Law-Steven & Mona Robinson of Peoria, IL. Michael & Debbie Robinson of Garland, TX., David & Sue Robinson who reside in England, and Scott & Tammy Robinson of Peoria, IL., Daughter and son-in-law Suzann & Scott Bunton of Mackinaw, IL., Daughter and Fianc�e Deborah Robinson & David Smith of Thompsonville, IL., Charlies ?Buddy? his grandson Bryan Robinson of Marion, IL. Fourteen Grandchildren and Several great-grandchildren. One sister, Eula Lancaster of Crab Orchard, IL and several nieces and nephews. Preceding him in death are his parents, three brothers and three sisters.
