Wanda Lou Baker

Wanda Lou Baker, 74, passed away on Tuesday, April 26, 2011 at 2:40 A.M. at Heartland Regional Medical Center.

Wanda was born September 23, 1936 in Marion the daughter of Dan & Kay Price. She married Robert Baker on October 18, 1954 in Marion and together they shared almost 47 years of marriage until his death on October 12, 2001.

She was a homemaker.

Seven grandchildren;
Michael & Crystal Smith of Benton, Kentucky
Karen Smith of Mississippi

Curt & Evon Smith of Marion
Sarah Baker of Marion
Candi & Paige Baker of Herrin
Becky Needham of Herrin
Nine Great Grandchildren

Preceded by her Parents, Husband � Robert, Son � Robert Baker, Grandson � David Baker, Granddaughter � Holly Baker, Two Sisters � Rosie Strickland and Cora Minor.

Funeral services will be Thursday, April 28, 2011 at 11 A.M. at Mitchell-Hughes Funeral Home with Rev. Don Colson officiating. Burial will follow in Maplewood Cemetery. Visitation will be Thursday from 9 A.M. until the time of service at the funeral home.

In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the family. Envelopes will be available and accepted at Mitchell-Hughes Funeral Home, 800 North Market Street, Marion, IL 62959.
