Ronald Glenn Jeralds
Colp- Ronald Glenn Jeralds, 74, of Colp, passed away at 11:37 AM, Friday, June 25, 2010 at Memorial Hospital of Carbondale.
Ronald was born on February 18, 1936 in Herrin to Clarence & Hazel (Davie) Jeralds.
He drove the pump truck for Freeman Fidelity #11 in DuQuoin until his retirement in 1991. He enjoyed fishing and was a member of the local Bass Club and the United Mine Workers of America.
Survivors include-
Son- Randy L. Jeralds of Colp
Daughter- Elaine Riggs & husband Dan of Herrin
Son- Neal Jeralds of Herrin
Son- Kent Scott Jeralds of Herrin
Daughter- Vicki Lamb & husband Charles of Herrin
Son- Ron Whitecotton of Herrin
Eight Grandchildren
Three Great Grandchildren
He was preceded in death by his parents, granddaughter- Amanda De-Ann Jeralds, two brothers and one sister.
A private memorial service will be held at a later date. Memorial arrangements have been entrusted to Johnson-Hughes Funeral Home in Herrin.
