Jeannette Stafford
Marion � Jeannette B. Stafford, 85, passed away on Thursday, May 20, 2010 at 6:45 P.M. at Heartland Regional Medical Center.
Jeannette was born March 7, 1925 in Akron, Ohio the daughter of Horace H. & Cedelia (Little) Bradford. She married Donald C. Stafford on December 27, 1947 in Florence, Alabama and together they have shared over 62 years of marriage.
She was a member of the St. James Episcopal Church. Jeannette was a teacher and school librarian in Hindsdale and Homewood, Illinois.
In addition to her husband she is survived by her;
Son � Joseph H. Stafford and wife Jean of Carbondale
Three grandchildren;
Margaret Ann Stafford of Carbondale
Lucinda Stafford of Carbondale
Lee Stafford of Carbondale
Sister � Sarah Horn of Birmingham, Alabama
Preceded in death by her Parents and Daughter � Ann Benny.
Memorial services were held on Friday, May 28, 2010 at the St. James Episcopal Church in Marion with Father Tim Goodman officiating. Mitchell-Hughes Funeral Home in Marion assisted the family with arrangements.
