Edith Marie Little
Marion � Edith Marie Little, 85, passed away on Friday, May 21, 2010 at 2:35 P.M. at Saline Care Center.
Edith was born August 20, 1924 in Marion the daughter of Alonzo & Mary (Klope) Hanks. She married William �Bill� Little on March 12, 1946 and together they shared over 42 years of marriage until his death on June 27, 1988.
She was a member of Davis Prairie Baptist Church and worked as a cook for the Marion Unit 2 School District.
She is survived by her;

Daughter � Beulah Miskelley and husband Thomas of Marion
Daughter � Dianne Snyder and husband Cecil of Murfreesboro, Tennessee
Son � Danny Little and wife Denise of Creal Springs

Preceded by her Parents, Husband, Granddaughter Julie Snyder, Brothers Gilbert, Dale & Lyman Hanks
Funeral services will be Tuesday, May 25, 2010 at 11:00AM at Mitchell-Hughes Funeral Home in Marion with Pastor John Howatt officiating. Burial will follow in Rose Hill Cemetery. Visitation will be Monday, May 24, 2010 from 5-8:00 PM at the funeral home.
For those who prefer memorials may be made to the American Heart Association. Envelopes will be available and accepted at Mitchell-Hughes Funeral Home, 800 North Market Street, Marion, IL 62959.
