Beulah Kennedy

Herrin-Beulah Kennedy, 85, died 12:10 P.M., Sunday, November 18, 2001 at the Friendship Care Center in Herrin.

She was born August 19, 1916 in Goreville, Illinois to Frank & Louisa (Greer) Kirby.

She married Alvin Kennedy on April 21, 1931 in Jonesboro, Illinois. He preceded her in death on February 8, 1979.

She was a member of the former Radio Tabernacle. She was the former owner of Egypt Flowers in Herrin.

Survivors include:
Dtr and son in law - Brenda and Bruce Bratcher of Herrin
Two Granddaughters-Valerie Holland of Carterville
Vanessa Kennedy of St. Louis
Three Great Grandchildren-Samantha Jo Holland of Carterville
Tyler Holland of Carterville
Jared Kennedy of St. Louis

Preceded by:
Parents, husband, one son Larry Kennedy, one grandson, Larry Lee
Kennedy, four brothers and two sisters.

Funeral services will be at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, November 21, 2001 at Johnson Hughes Funeral Home in Herrin. Rev. Ralph Brandon will officiate. Visitation will be Tuesday from 6:00 to 9:00 p.m. at the funeral home. Burial will follow at Herrin City Cemetery
