Noel E. Allen
Marion � Noel E. Allen, 78, passed away on Tuesday, July 18, 2006 at 1:20 A.M. at Heartland Regional Medical Center.
Noel was born August 31, 1927 in Pittsburg, Illinois to Louie and Velma (Edwards) Allen. He married Adilene Schneider on January 1, 1955 in Mississippi and together they have shared over 51 years of marriage.
Noel was retired from Freeman #4 Coal Mine. He was an Army Veteran and a member of UMW of A.

Funeral services will be Thursday, July 20, 2006 at 11:00 A.M. at Mitchell-Hughes Funeral Home with Rev. Luther Barnes officiating. Burial will follow at Rose Hill Cemetery. Military rites will be performed by Marion�s VFW Post #1301 and American Legion Post #147. Visitation will be Wednesday from 5:00 � 9:00 P.M. at the funeral home.
