Johanna Davis

JOHANNA DAVIS
Marion-Johanna Davis, 79, died at 4:55 p.m. on Saturday, May 20, 2006, at Herrin Hospital. Johanna was born December 8, 1926 in Darmstadt Germany to Phillip and Elizabeth (Walters) Funk. She married Billy Ray Davis on November 26, 1951 and he preceded her in death on September 14, 1991. Johanna was a homemaker.
Survivors include: Three Daughters � Karin Shepard, Kay Davis and Kelly (David) Smith all of Marion. Grandson Jerry Nicholson of Mounds City and Granddaughter Michelle Thomas of Benton. Great Grandchild Chase Thomas of Benton. One Sister Heide Beutel of Germany. She was preceded in death by her parents and husband.
Per Johanna�s request her body will be cremated and her ashes will be scattered at a later date. There will be no services. Mitchell-Hughes Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements. Memorials may be made to the Humane Society in Johanna�s memory. Memorial envelopes are available at the funeral home.
