Rudy A. (Butch) Scott III
Marion � Rudy A. "Butch" Scott III, 59, of Gillespie, Illinois formerly of Marion, passed away on Tuesday, March 7, 2006 at 10:30 A.M. at his home in Gillespie.
Rudy was born July 10, 1946. He was the son of Howard and Juanita Murrow.
Rudy served with the U.S. Air Force and was a Vietnam Veteran. He was a member of the American Legion, Eagles and Veteran�s of Foreign Wars. Throughout his lifetime he performed with various bands. His most recent being the First Flick Band. His love for performing music was a lifelong passion.

John Murrow and wife Teri of Marion

Funeral services will be Saturday, March 11, 2006 at 1:00 P.M. at Mitchell-Hughes Funeral Home in Marion with Rev. Frankie Starrick officiating. Burial will follow in Rose Hill Cemetery. Military rites will be performed by Marion�s VFW Post #1301, American Legion Post #147 and Litchfield�s VFW Post #3912. Visitation will be Saturday from 11:00 A.M. until the time of service at the funeral home.
