Gloria and family: Dr. Corder was my doctor as a child and to my children for a period of time. He had a special way to communicate to his patients with his wit and sense of humor. I respected him and thought dearly of him. There are not many left with the compassion and willingness to serve as Dr. Corder did. He will be missed by many. May the Lord comfort you as you are covered with many thoughts and prayers. Laurie Chapman

All my love to Gloria and family. Corder was my Dr. for years and a wonderful family friend. I'll never forget our Sun. afternoon flights as he and my Dad soared high in So. Illinois skies with my sister and I amazed at the view below us. Also I have many fond memories of days together at the Marion Country Club...and, of course the look on his face as he held both of my children for the first time...truly love you all!

I am so sorry to hear of Dr. Corders passing. He was our family doctor in Wenona and became a friend, as I imagine he did with many of his patients. When I moved to southern Illinois, I had the chance to meet him at his various positions. When my brother passed a few years ago, he attended the service and really made us happy to show up. He was just a wonderfull person and although I really didn't know him well, I can say that he made quite an impression on me and my heart goes out to Jan and the rest of the family. One thing that I remember is that my brother Terry, who must have been about 5 years old, had learned to turn his tongue over on its side. Dr.Corder was quite amused by this, and in no time he learned to do it too and demonstrated his abilitiy when we saw him a few years ago. May he rest in Peace.
