Herrin- Charlotte Marie Painter, 56, of Herrin, passed away at 1:40 PM, Thursday, December 27, 2012 at Herrin Hospital. Charlotte was born on August 23, 1956 in Scott County, Tennessee to Charles and Sadie (Clark) Hill. She was a former manager at Shoneys restaurant in Georgia. She loved plants, animals, swimming, walking, and spending time with family and friends. She also enjoyed cooking, singing, karaoke, and decorating. Survivors include- Son Ronnie Smith of Herrin Daughter- Ronda Aaron of Albany, Kentucky Three Grandchildren FatherCharles Hill Two Sisters Four Brothers Several Nieces & Nephews She was preceded in death by her mother, 3 sisters, and one brother. The funeral service will be held at 2:00 PM, Wednesday, January 2, 2013 at Johnson-Hughes Funeral Home in Herrin. Rev. Don Colson will officiate. Burial will follow at Herrin City Cemetery. Visitation will be from 1-2:00 PM, Wednesday, January 2, 2013 at Johnson-Hughes Funeral Home in Herrin.
