Bobbie Jean Miner

Bobbie Jean Miner, 85, passed away on Sunday, December 9, 2012 at 5:23 P.M. at Heartland Regional Medical Center. Bobbie was born December 7, 1927 in Williamson County, the daughter of Oscar & Nancy (Taylor) Strunk, Sr. She married Paul Miner on September 26, 1943 in Cape Girardeau, Missouri and together they shared over 41 years of marriage. He preceded her in death on February 1, 1985. She was a homemaker. Survivors include; Son Dennis Gene Miner and wife Pamela of Hercules, California Daughter Diana Paulette Miner of Marion Two Grandchildren; Jennifer Phillips and husband Gary of San Jose, California Dena Rae Miner of Pinole, California Three Brothers; Howard Strunk and wife Patsy of Marion Virgil Strunk of Johnston City Oscar Strunk of Richland, Washington Two Sisters; Pauline Carter of Thompsonville Mimoth Johnson of Marion Several nieces and nephews Preceded by her Parents, Husband, Two Sisters Tempa Watkins and Mary Mattox. It was Bobbies wish to be cremated and her ashes will be interred at Rose Hill Cemetery at a later date. Mitchell-Hughes Funeral Home in Marion is assisting the family with the arrangements.
