I am so sorry to hear of Rosie’s passing. Your family is in my thoughts and prayers during this difficult time. What joy knowing we’ll see her again in Heaven, but her loss on this earth will be felt. May your memories bring you comfort and may God cradle you in the palm of His hands in the days to come. Love and blessings to you all.

George and Rosie were our next door neighbors in the early 60’s when we lived across from the Center Baptist Church in Crab Orchard. I was just a little girl, but I soon fell in love with Rosie. She was so sweet to this little nosy neighbor girl, who was probably a little pest! She always made the best chocolate drop cookies, with pretty pink icing. I can still taste them! A year or so ago, when my sister, Carolyn, and I were looking through Mom’s recipes, we found Rosie’s chocolate drop cookies. Mom was a great cook, but nobody made them like Rosie.
I am so sorry to hear of her passing. I had not seen her for several years, but she remained sweet as always. I am sure she is rejoicing in heaven, reunited with George once again.

Words cannot express my sorrow for the family’s loss as well as a loss of a dear friend of mine. Rosie and I grew up as neighbors in the Simpson area. We were at each others house often. Loads of fond memories.
