Bill always had an infectious smile that could make a stranger feel welcome. I’ll miss his jokes and the laughter they brought on. It was an honor to meet him and call him a friend. He always made me feel like family rather than a friend. Thank you for the wonderful memories.

Barb and family, I was a friend of Bill’s for many years. I enjoyed seeing and talking to him at Sohns, SIU, and the Lions Club. As you know, he was a wonderful person and a good friend. I hope you’re doing fine and enjoyed talking to you at SIU. To all of you, God bless and please take care.

So sorry for your loss. I first met Bill in the mid 60’s when he was working at Sohn’s and I was in grade school shopping with my mom for school clothes. Once you met Bill you had a friend for life. He was one of the good guys. RIP old friend.
