Dretta was a longtime friend. She had an infectious laugh, and no filter when she was telling a story. I will remember her fondly. Condolences to her daughter. She was very proud of you, Trisha. RIP

During our days at Franklin School we were allowed to bring one gift we received at Christmas to share with classmates. I remember Dretta as always having the most wonderful gift which I must confess caused me to be a little jealous. Most of all I remember her smile, her laugh, & playing together in her backyard. Sincerest sympathy for her family. 🌹

Condolences to Dretta’s family. I was a childhood to high school friend. On occasion I would see her in Herrin. She always had a smile and loved to laugh.
