Uncle Mike always believed in me and encouraged me to persue my dreams. He was very talented at playing the piano and a whiz at anything technical. I always wanted to be just like him because he was my idol. He was instrumental in shaping my future as I too learned to play the piano and found that I inherited his technical abilities. Both he and Aunt Sandy encouraged me to grow my talent as a musician and an artist. After Aunt Sandy passed away he was very lost. I made it a point to call him each week and everytime he would tell me how proud he was of me. He told me the stories from old pictures of our family many dating back to the 1800’s and made me promise to remember who we are and where we came from. He took me last year to the graves of those who have gone before us so that they will never be forgotten. He gave me the ancestery of our family that he researched for over 10 years. A part of him will live on through me and I feel humble and honored by these gifts he gave me. Bless you Uncle Mike..
