    Dear Ed and Dennis.

Our condolences from all of the Sohn family on your mom’s passing. She was a lovely, gentle and strong lady. Our father always considered himself fortunate for their many years of working together, and for Jewell’s friendship. And our mother and we kids all appreciated Jewell’s kind and welcoming words and ways.

We send you and all of your family our wishes for peace and strength at this time, and for the ability to enjoy your memories of your mom.

    Love,
Barry, Nancy and Bruce, and families

What a beautiful lady and what a beautiful life. I did not know her, but I know her son Dennis and he exemplifies the same genuine character.
May the Lord comfort the family during this time and the days to come.
Mrs. Avripas will soon be dancing in the heavenlies as this precious angel is greeted by Jesus.

I am sorry for your loss. Your mom was a great lady. When me and my husband first came to Herrin , my husband worked evening shift at the hospital and I did not have a way to go to church. Your mom would come and pick me and my daughter up and take us to church at Radio Tabernacle. I’ll never forgot those times at church there, everyone was so kind and friendly to us. Our thoughts and prayers are with you and your family.
