This is my very wonderfully loved Aunt Betty. From my earliest memories she was lovely, poised, and had an infectious laugh. Her southern accent was most pronounced and I loved to sit and listen to her laugh and talk. She loved her son Larry almost like God does!! I will be sad knowing she isn’t living where I knew she was; but, Betty will be a big influence on my journey back home to God where we will see each other again! Be at peace, Aunt Betty.

Rest in peace with the Lord, lovely lady. Aunt Betty was a true lady and a role model for me as a child. I loved her generous smile, sweet disposition, and quiet ways and hoped I could be more like her. Aunt Betty was the soft voice at any rowdy Doughty gathering, where I and my cousins had so much fun. We were so fortunate to have had her in our lives.
